About Void Of Thought
I've been managing and GMing for my group of friends for some time now, switching between being a player and the Game Master for a whole manner of different games and campaigns. Although mostly for DnD, I have always been a deep fan of the worldscape of Call of Cthulhu, and I've ran several premade campaigns and some homebrew games for my players and got great feedback on their experience! I love staying in open communication with how I am doing as the Game Master to better ensure that everyone is having fun and it gives me a great chance to improve. My daytime job is that of a salesman, but I love to spend my free time making custom maps on Inkarnate or playing a large rotating selection of different games, like Elden Ring or Tears of the Kingdom

I ran my first game...
Was actually in Discord! I couldn't find anyone to play Dnd in real life with me so I set off to search for groups that were playing online. I went through different servers with different house rules and directions, eventually I started to run my own!
How Void Of Thought runs games
I love making a mystery with puzzles to solve and some secret plot to unveil, where the villain is working from the shadows and the heroes have to work together to try and snoop out what their objective is and put a stop to it. I love to make high stake encounters where combat might be the easy approach, but clever roleplay might make the fight avoidable altogether, or necessary if an enemy is far too strong to just charge headfirst at. I love to reward players that outsmart a scenario I came up with or make use of an obvious weak spot that even I might not have considered before. Usually, my campaigns are homebrewed in their story and world for the best possible flexibility and to keep my players guessing to what sort of great reveal there is in store for them. A few of my favorite self-made campaigns are of Call of Cthulhu, where it's even easier to make a private world hidden in plain view of a 1930 modern day. Or a space faring adventure, where average humans are cast out into a far unknown world in the stars that leaves everyone unaware of how to proceed but enjoying the discovery all the same.
