About Cameron
First and foremost I'm a storyteller and I love the collaborative storytelling that takes place with TTRPGs. I've been playing and running various games for over 20 years and always seem to have another game I want to run. I tend to have a fairly improvisational style to my DMing, molding the story to the characters and how they interact with the world around them. Homebrew content both for me and my players is common at my table and I love to alter existing content to surprise even veteran players. Above all, I want for both my players and myself to have fun and enjoy our game and I'm always open to requests or alterations to make sure everyone maintains that enjoyment.

I got started GMing...
in my first semester at university. I'd finally been exposed to D&D through the Gaming Guild on campus, but immediately wanted to run my own games. I bought the 3.0 D&D core books and essentially haven't stopped running games in the almost 25 years since.
My favorite books are
The Dresden Files, Discworld, anything from the Cosmere, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Red Rising, Legends & Lattes, Dungeon Crawler Carl, Spinward Fringe, The Dark Tower, Fred the Vampire Accountant, Wheel of Time, a bunch of litRPG series, and a whole lot more.
How Cameron runs games
I love to tell stories that include both roleplay and character-focused arcs as well as entertaining combat scenarios. While a given campaign will obviously have an overarching plot, I highly enjoy working PC backgrounds and motivations into my games. This has even led to entire campaign alterations as our story led in a different direction than I initially planned for and I utterly love when that happens.

I think it's a red flag when players...
have the mindset that a TTRPG is "the players vs the GM." I'm not trying to beat you or kill your characters. We're all here to play out a collaborative story. If you're looking for a combative GM, mine is not the table for you.
