About Nexus TTRPG

I’m a long time DM known for creative homebrew, mechanically interesting items/creatures, in depth lore and characters, and providing campaigns the likes of which no one else provides. I value engaging with players whenever I can, being available and transparent, and being as easy going as I can.

When I'm not running games I'm...

I actually have 2 TTRPG systems I’m working on, one over 10,000 words and the other over 100,000 words

How Nexus TTRPG runs games

I’m good with intense narratively engaging combat, with the aim of giving players an excuse to do awe inspiring stuff and making sure everyone gets a turn in the spotlight. My roleplay can range from subtle and delicate relationships to philosophical banter to nonchalant and comedic. I have a very fine tuned balance between being too serious and being irreverent. Though admittedly I do need work, and actively do work, on voice acting skills. Exploration in my campaigns is defined by slowly uncovering mysteries and engaging with in depth lore of the worlds, ideally at the same time.

Nexus TTRPG's ideal table

I’m generally quite laid back without being irreverent, apathetic, overly subversive, or cynical. I can work well with many types of players, but I’m best when my players also strike a balance between engaging with roleplay, lore, and encounters, and also enjoying the inherent humor of it.
