Hey I'm Malcolm. Are you ready for an adventure? ⚔️ 💫 🌩️ 💬 ☠️ 🦀 🔥 👣 🐚 🐉 I am new to GMing but I am a Cosmere veteran. I plan to get my feet wet on the rocky plains of Roshar in preparation for the streets of Scadrial becoming available later this year. Having some limited experience looking through the Mistborn rule set, I am very excited for people to get into it. I've loved my opportunities to create sandbox situations with players. GMing those games has been the most fun I've had with the game yet. I have also played some Pathfinder2e and have a lot of interest in getting into other new systems.

How Malcolm / Rolling with Meez runs games
An ideal game to me is one where each PC gets to flex their strengths while working together to problem solve, whether in combat or conversation. I like to encourage outside the box thinking as well as character immersion. A game should be challenging but fair with plenty of decisions available to shape your character into who you picture in your mind. Sometimes hard choices need to be made and sometimes those choices have lasting consequences. Of course, none of this should get in the way of making jokes about the ridiculous choices and situations.

Hopefully we can resolve it within a minute. Otherwise, unless it's an extremely pivotal moment, we'll move on and I get final say in the moment. However, we can regroup after the session. I'm not above making a mistake.

Getting maps, characters, music and NPC ready ahead of time. This means I need your help by being responsive between games. Please do not be someone who joins my game then takes days to join the Discord server or respond to my messages about the game.

A collaborative and trusting table can make sitting in a tavern for 4 hours the most fun you had all week. You all want a part in the story. You all want a time to shine. You all want the respect of being listened to. Ultimately, no one player is above the party.

Arguing with me or other players. We can briefly discuss anything in session as long as it's kept short, focused and respectful. But things that are more technical or personal can wait. After the session though we can chat about anything for longer without wasting the the party's valuable time.
