About Ron

Hi I'm Ron, I've been GMing for 3 years and TTRPGs have become my entire life instantly. I'm a Gm who loves sandboxes, worldbuilding, and helping players bring their characters to life. My tables are built around collaboration and communication. I focus on creating immersive adventures where everyone gets a chance to shine. Whether it’s epic battles, heartfelt roleplay, or chaotic party hijinks, I aim to make every session memorable and full of energy.

I became a GM because

I fell in love with roleplaying. I especially enjoy when my players aren't held back by the rules and just do what they really would do.

How Ron runs games

I like to make combat feel like monster hunter or dark souls esque big narrative set pieces. I try to avoid combat with too many enemies that take the entire session to run. I love roleplaying and will tend to award good roleplay while also helping other reach that same depth with their character. I like creating my own maps for settings. There is always a grander narrative piecing all sessions together. I love teaching new players how to play.

I deal with rules issues by...

Making a call for us to keep the story moving without being bogged down and making a clarification in between for moments going forward.

Ron's ideal table

My tables use a lot of collaboration, for example even if your an evil character or lone wolf, you character must still care about the party and use the teamwork to your benefit. I really enjoy tables that describe they way they combat and bring a bit of roleplay. Totally fine if it's still done the normal, but rewards are there for really being your character.

I love it when a player

incorporates roleplaying into combat and brings their character to life in all modes of play

I think min/maxing...

gives me a chance to use stronger creatures, I will also tailor combats to fit to the party's strengths and weaknesses
