About Kaden Drake
I am a GM with 9 years of experience across a variety of systems. I'm always on the hunt to learn new systems and research game design on the whole. My interests and inspirations for games are largely more Video Games such as Coffee Talk, Hollow Knight, I Was A Teenage Exocolonist, and Infamous. I am eager to take on all kinds of players and help make them feel safe at the table, while providing them the freedom to live out the stories that resonate with them strongest.

I started running games because...
I had a lot of friends who were interested in a distraction at a time when the world seemed pretty grim and just getting worse. I stepped up to the role as GM to provide that space and give them a chance to feel they could fight back and triumph against that grim world.
How Kaden Drake runs games
I would say I fall into the camp of preferring RP heavy campaigns, however my goal is always to have the numbers, dice, and mechanics help justify and facilitate the emotional moments occurring naturally. I side on the rule of cool, but if I have designed the rules correctly it will naturally be cool. My goal for my players is that they feel like the story is intimately about their characters and the challenges they'll face couldn't be overcome by anyone other than themselves.
