About Erikas Kunca
I have been running games for a long while now - started with just playing in our fantasy worlds running around outside, then moved on to a more structured play using D&D 3.5 around when I was 16. Nowadays, I've mostly moved away from the cultural giant and enjoy running crunchier games with a fair amount of moving parts, be it differing factions or a tactical combat. I've run a few hundred session in over twenty systems since I started tracking, and a few hundred sessions more before I even thought I'd fall in love with this hoby like so.

I got started GMing...
By playing games outside with my friends, really. We'd always played in fantasy worlds and had our characters, ever since I can remember. So at some point the want for something more structed came over and we started out first game, with me as the GM.
How Erikas Kunca runs games
I care quite a bit about fairness and the internal consistency of games I run. It's important to me that the world be able to function without the players, so most characters tend to have their own things going on, meaning players are often interlopers, causing issues for these characters or solving long standing issues that couldn't be resolved without outside influence. If the game is combat focused, I tend to push the players to think hard and fight for their victory. All fight can end in a loss, else why have it? I enjoy having multiple factions, and factions within factions, each trying to gain something or working with one another for just a while, and each of those factions trying to offer the player characters something they would like. I care less about descriptiveness or acting than I do about motivation and how a character might achieve their goal.
