About Tim
When I was 8 years old the older kids invited me to play D&D. The Blue Book. It changed my life. Me and so many other kids of the same era. D&D let your imagination run wild and for a shy kid with plenty of energy but not a lot of confidence it gave me focus. I developed a love of history from my love of the game. I still carry that to all my games as a player and as a DM. A sense of history, and a sense of gonzo because anything can happen. If my world building has done its job I'm crafting experiences, not just games.

I became a GM because
No one seemed to be running the games I wanted to play, so I started making my own!
My favorite system of all Time is
I was a 2E AD&D fan. I think that era was the most creative in the company and the settings proved it. But it has its limits, so now when I want to play something thats another genre I use my own game system now--I call it GAS. The Ghost Ape system. Old school pulp and rules-light.
When I'm not running games I'm...
writing them full time. I hope to share my work soon.
How Tim runs games
I like a bit of everything in my games, from combat to comedy. I prefer theater of the mind because as a kid we never bought anything other that the core rulebooks, so no miniatures, no modules, just homebrew. I'll try my best for an immersive environment with as much player agency as the players can handle, so I enjoy sandbox play the most.
