About Itauã
My name is Itauã, but everyone calls me Ita. I’m an architect, worldbuilder, and passionate storyteller with 23 years of experience playing and running TTRPGs. I started at 13 and have explored every major edition of Dungeons & Dragons, along with systems like GURPS, Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Pathfinder (1st and 2nd editions), and many more. I currently run long-term campaigns for groups who have been together for years, as well as one-shots and event games. I’ve GMed in game stores, conventions, and helped countless new players fall in love with the hobby. My D&D expertise is deep, but I’m also passionate about creating my own worlds, complete with original maps, regions, cultures, and stories. I host both in-person games—where I sculpt custom terrain and present detailed maps at the table—and online games on Foundry VTT, enhanced with interactive menus, immersive visuals, and automated triggers. My dedication to preparation and presentation ensures that every session feels alive and meaningful.

How Itauã runs games
I aim to create rich, immersive worlds where everything makes sense—NPCs, locations, and events all have their own motivations, goals, and connections. I design quests to be both interlinked and modular, so players have real agency to choose their path. In my games, missions can fail, characters can die, and stories can take unexpected turns based on player actions—but nothing is ever arbitrary or punitive. Every consequence has a reason within the story. I favor a narrative realism approach: even magic follows internal logic, making the fantastic stand out against a believable world. I’m drawn to gothic, grimdark, and darker tones where heroism exists but comes with difficult choices, tension, and sacrifice. I work to ensure each NPC feels distinct and alive, each setting breathes with detail, and each encounter—whether social, exploratory, or combat—serves a purpose in the greater narrative. Whether at a beautifully crafted physical table or an interactive virtual one, my goal is to give players memorable, emotionally engaging stories where their choices truly matter.
