About Christopher Burris
I’ve been a GM/DM for most of my life, mostly among friends and family. Recently, I had the privilege of GMing for Lurking Fears at GenCon, where I received fantastic feedback that encouraged me to expand into online GMing. I’m always eager to explore new games and adventures. As a somewhat chaotic GM, I enjoy when stories go off the rails — it adds to the fun and creativity at the table. While I guide players toward their goals, I love seeing them get inventive and enjoy the ride. I’m also a disabled veteran and father of five (half-time), which shapes my flexible scheduling and welcoming style. Ready for an unforgettable, dynamic game? Let’s make some chaos! I charge $25 per hour for RPG sessions, with a minimum booking of 2 hours and a maximum of 4 hours per session. One-shots or short campaigns usually run 2–3 hours. Longer campaigns can be booked up to 4 hours per session. Add-ons such as custom characters, session recordings, or lore documents can be arranged separately. This pricing balances quick, engaging adventures and longer story arcs, with flexible options to suit your group’s style. I do not offer first-time player discounts due to abuse. Sorry in advance.

My favorite shows/movies are
Spaceballs, hands down! Or anything Mel Brooks really! Might throw in some Monty Pythons for good measure.
People are always surprised when I tell them
That I am a father of five, and that I still find time for all my gaming activities.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Playing a variety of video games (I'm a Playstation trophy hunter on the PSN trophy leaderboards), concocting more campaign ideas, working on our gaming business (Son of a Witch Games, LLC. We are tabletop crafters and GMs-for-hire), or just surviving as a disabled vet and dad of five.
How Christopher Burris runs games
I am a bit of a chaotic GM, in that I like when some stories get derailed and crazy. It adds to the fun. I can still get my players to the end goals, but I love watching them have fun and be creative in the process. I do love a good narrative and have been known to occasionally reward good story telling from my players with some bonuses.
Christopher Burris's ideal table
I get along well, as a GM, with fun, flexible, players. I don't mind those that question rules for understanding or if something is majorly off; but I don't do "rules lawyers". Every book states they are a framework, not the hard-and-fast end-all. We like to get fun and crazy sometimes, but we can also have serious, or even dire moments at times.
