About A.W. Ross
I started playing Dungeons & Dragons in 2020 to help me get through COVID. I immediately fell in love with the game. I have planned over systems and am up for any, but mainly stick to Dungeons & Dragons 5e, released in 2014. As I've been writing fantasy for over 15 years, my original DM suggested I should try running a game, although he warned me that I would be running games forever. So 5 years later, here we are, trying to share my knowledge and world-building with all.

How A.W. Ross runs games
I run narrative-heavy, character-first campaigns full of perilous freedom, dark humor, and world-shaking secrets. Expect cinematic roleplay, morally grey commitments, and just enough chaos to keep you having fun. I love taking players' backstories and linking their histories to larger world plots, rewarding players who make bold decisions, and allowing their choices to have a lasting impact in the campaign. My sessions strive for a blend between fast-paced combat, improvised NPCs, and slow-burning hidden mysteries. This makes my game accessible to players who want to delve into their character's arc while still engaging in combat. New players and veterans alike, I'm proud to see my table become a collaborative space of storytelling, creativity, and unique experiences.
