About Glen Leadbetter
I have had over 10 years experience as a GM. I have played mainly with the same people over that time in games at my house. I have not done a lot of playing online. However, I have moved to Peru and want to keep playing and am looking for some fun people to play. I do a lot of original world building and use my own setting for my games. I do this so that I know the world, because I made the world. I give my players a ton of information about the world in session zero but I do not expect them to remember it all. I also take time to insert my players into the world with their backstories and their wants and hopes for their characters. I enjoy moving the players along the story, the main one and their personal one as well. I generally play the rule of cool idea that I am happy to go with different ideas, if you want to try something, then lets see how it goes. Sometimes I will say no, as it might be unreasonable, but most of the time, if it is a fun idea, I want to see where it goes. I love creative players who want to enjoy the game. I always go with the idea of I will set the problem up, you need to find a way to solve it. A lot of the time, I do not have a clear idea on how to resolve issues in my world. This way, I give a lot of freedom to my players to come up with original ways to make the story go forward. I find that is interesting for me and the players. There is rarely just one way to solve a problem. That is my rant. I am looking for fun players.

I talked about it earlier but yeah, I love roleplay, and having a laugh. DND is a place to have fun and enjoy yourself. I like the idea of the rule of cool, if you think you can do it, then let's see how it goes. Sometimes I say no if I think it is not possible. Not everything is achievable by rolling a dice. You are not going to be able to seduce every monster or convince the king to give up his crown because you rolled a D20, but you might be able to kill the dragon by bringing the roof of the cave down on his head if you come up with a good plan and things go your way. Also I do a lot of original characters and monsters, so please be aware that you might come across a hag, but she wont be the same as in the monster manual. So please dont expect her to be the same. I like to keep things interesting and fun. I GM because I like to come up with interesting worlds and I love to see people immerse themselves in them and have fun discovering the secrets and plots that make the world real.
