About Mike The Suspiciously Friendly DM
Hi! My name is Mike. My tabletop experience has primarily been Dungeons and Dragons. I started years ago with 3.5e, later moved on to 5th Edition, and I haven't looked back since! I have been a GM for multiple successful campaigns (including one I am currently running using Obojima). My favorite part of being a GM is seeing the players get invested in a world we've created together.

How Mike The Suspiciously Friendly DM runs games
I believe in the collaborative storytelling approach to DnD, and I encourage players to be an active part of the world. Whether that be having them describe a new place as they enter, or simply making decisions based on what will make the story good, as opposed to the mechanically optimal path. I like to have good combat, but roleplay is my bread and butter. I've been complimented many times on my Non-Player Character creations. Though I am well-versed in the rules of DnD5E, I believe wholly in player expression, having fun, and the rule of cool!
