About me

Hello future adventurers! I'm Jen, and I'm thrilled to offer a Dungeons & Dragons experience focused on collaborative storytelling and vibrant social interaction. I started Dungeon Mastering in college around 2006, but my journey with role-playing began much earlier, in high school, where I cultivated a love for co-creating stories with friends. This means I'm a social role-player first and foremost! My games lean heavily into "Theater of the Mind," allowing us to weave a fun and interesting narrative together. While exploration and combat are certainly important and will be part of our adventures, my primary focus is on building a compelling story and a great atmosphere at the table. If you're looking for a DM who specializes in massive combat encounters or intricate, sprawling dungeons, I might not be the best fit, as those aren't my main priorities. Tabletop games are my favorite way to connect with people, and I strive to make every session a positive and inclusive space. I am openly LGBTQ+ supportive and foster a strictly co-operative environment—no PvP here! Your adventuring party are teammates, and I believe in prioritizing player relationships. If any conflicts arise between players, we'll address them peacefully and before we kill goblins. I'm passionate about bringing fun, positive energy to every game. If you're looking for a D&D experience where storytelling, collaboration, and a friendly atmosphere come, play with me!

GM Style

I love Roleplaying and character focused narrative. I designed and ran a Pokémon D&D campaign where players started as amnesiac, part-Pokémon characters. They escaped their science/occult prisons, eventually becoming the world's new gods as they uncovered their origins and found their place in the world. The campaign featured a blend of plot-driven combat and world exploration. Even now, my players from that campaign fondly recall it, and I often give them gifts related to their Pokémon PCs. I also prepared a one-shot escort mission to transport a dangerous prisoner to a mountain work camp. Each character was integral to the narrative, allowing them to collectively uncover a royal/political scandal as they discussed the mystery. Without revealing the plot twist (in case I reuse it), a fun detail was that one of the horses pulling the prisoner coach was actually a PC. This druid PC had to maintain their equine disguise longer than usual, so I provided a modified magic item to facilitate this. The other players enjoyed attempting to communicate with the "horse" while trying to make it appear as a normal "speak to animals" spell, which created a great moments of fun. Those two games give a good base for my style of DMing
