Hello everyone!!! I'm Alfie (he/him) but you can call me Space/Toast/Jam (wow look at that 3 nicknames for the price of one person). As a filmmaker by trade, storytelling is a natural skill I use in my regular life outside of TTRPGs. Like everyone else, I enjoy playing TTRPGs, but nothing gives me that same thrill as being a DM and receiving real-time feedback for a scenario that t breathe life into. My focus as a DM is on the story, characters, worldbuilding, and collaboration. I hope to collaborate on making enriching stories together and helping in shaping your character to be something that the table loves and cherishes just as much as you do. Along with any other meeting outside of any campaign session. I'm a DM who's quite open to learning new systems. I'm frequently looking for new systems to play in my spare time. My campaigns are heavily story focused as i bring lots of my storytelling skills I use in my trade over as a GM.

By seeing other friends GM and thinking "Man they're good and love playing in their campaigns but I'd love to do my own thing." and so I took a leap of faith and did exactly that. Found that I love doing it and have not looked back ever since.
How Space runs games
I definitely lean more towards rule of cool as a DM, letting my players concoct plans means that i get to witness the wildest stunts be performed at my table which is always a joy for everyone involved. I love when my players roleplay, interact and bounce off of each other. I also encourage collaboration between my players to come up with plans in combat. As a DM I encourage my player to let their imagination run wild, to make friends, but most importantly to have fun, as that's my main goal.
Space's ideal table
Those who enjoy character interactions with layered plots and good pacing will feel right at home at my table. I welcome people who come from all different walks of life, regardless of who they are and how old they are. The vibe at my table will be campaign-dependent and or scene-dependent. If the subject matter being explored is something with some real weight to it, then my tables typically act accordingly to that. But if a moment is more light-hearted and fun, then the vibe at the table will be more in line with that. I've GM'd for a wide spectrum of campaign settings and tones, so any player who is interested in what I've written on my profile so far will be interested.

Comes up with an unexpected plan to solve a problem, as a GM having to think of something on the spot to respond accordingly to that is always fun for me.
I think min/maxing...
Is only a problem if a GM doesn't put the necessary safeguards in place to counter whatever build that player has, so that the player can keep their build and still be in danger. No matter what a player does i'm always gonna put something in place to keep the stakes high.
