About HORNS
Hi! I'm Jared and I've been running games for 5 years. I love role-play heavy games focused on collaborative storytelling and improv. I come from a family of traditional artists, and I draw almost every single day. I've produced and written many comics that I've released online. I'm always creating new content and drawings for my gaming groups. I primarily run games through Roll20, and I try to use to program to its absolute limits.

My favorite system of all Time is
Dungeons & Dragon 5e (2014) will always and forever have a special place in my heart. I have played and ran other systems and variations of 5e but D&D is always going to hit the sweet spot.
How HORNS runs games
Heavy role play, emergent story telling/player input, humor, and character development. I love taking an idea of a character and creating a full study on them to see all of their many facets when held up to the microscope. I tend to prioritize "Rule of Cool" over most things when deciding rulings, especially if it leans into the character's individual growth. I typically play with smaller groups and want to ensure they have strong relationships with each other and the NPCs and villains around them. When it comes to combat, I try to run more tactical battles where the goal isn't necessarily to 'kill the bad guy,' as I find that can serve longer running stories better. I also always make art of my player characters as well as important NPCs that the party encounters.

When it comes to voices
I go as all out as I can! I love trying on a variety of voices and dialects to better help portray the different characters I throw into the mix. However, I do not mind at all if players don't use a voice/affectation, as long as they speak in character occasionally.
HORNS's ideal table
Players who love helping each other out! This comes in many forms: helping facilitate rules during combat, reminding party members of lore or key figures, or providing space for another party member to fully inhabit a scene. I try to keep games as fun as possible and try to make sure there's some intensity in the plot throughout.
