As an organized and detail-oriented Game Master, I bring rich plot lines and immersive story elements to every campaign. I specialize in weaving player backstories seamlessly into the narrative to create cohesive, unforgettable adventures. With experience spanning decades—from my start with the Red Box Dungeons & Dragons to my deep love for 3.5 edition—I’ve honed my skills and storytelling craft over time. After returning to 5E three years ago, I’ve been hosting weekly online games that keep players engaged and coming back for more. Currently, I run campaigns using the 2024 Dungeons & Dragons rules on the Shard Tabletop Virtual Tabletop (VTT) platform. Let’s roll the dice and make stories come alive!

In my games, you can expect a balanced mix of role-playing, exploration, and combat in every session. I love weaving dark overtones and horror/supernatural elements into a High Magic, High Fantasy version of the Forgotten Realms. Home brewing is a passion of mine—I enjoy crafting unique magic items and welcome homebrew species and classes to enrich the experience. My games are designed for adults, with sensitive content like sexual themes or graphic situations handled tastefully and kept off-screen (fade to black). I’m also completely open to working with newer players, ensuring everyone feels welcome and engaged. My goal is to create impactful, immersive adventures that leave a lasting impression.

Chris has made playing DnD more fun than any other DM I’ve played with. He is very knowledgeable and creative, there’s always something unexpected happening keeping every game feeling interesting. Chris’ games never feel unbalanced and he is very invested in first class storytelling and making sure every player feels safe, included and has their moment to shine. He also always has amazing maps which really makes the wold of the campaign come alive!

He’s a great DM. He’s good at setting clear boundaries with his players and expects you to understand the class are playing and to stick to the rules he sets out. And at his best times he can create visceral scenes and incredible twists. Recommended for veteran players, who know there way around the game.

I started playing in Doc Apocalypse's games a couple of years ago, after falling in love with the genre playing Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2 with him. I was completely new to Dungeons and Dragons, and Chris helped me through all the stages, from creating a character and exciting background to helping me break out of my shyness and really opening up to strangers in the game. He runs a fun, fast-paced game and really knows how to create an engaging storyline while weaving all the players backgrounds into it. I highly recommend him to new and pro players.
