About Alex
Hey adventurers! Name's Alex and I'm 27. I've been playing DnD 5e for about 6ish years now and Dm'ing for about half of that, so I'm a little bit on the newer side compared to most other Dm's on here. For my campaigns, I use Dungeon Alchemist to create very detailed maps and foundry VTT to make things smooth for both combat and exploration. I also LOVE using handouts such as journal entries that players can just find on the maps and pick them up as they go.

How Alex runs games
I tend to prefer running campaigns filled with wild homebrews, dramatic moments, and epic fights. If you're looking for a game where creativity trumps rulebooks and "rule of cool" is king, you've found your table. I love working with players who bring their own ideas, characters, and homebrew content, so let’s build something unforgettable together. I also LOVE doing voice and accents for my NPCS, not to say that I'm great at it, but I try and I'm having fun with it. Of course, that's just me and players are absolutely NOT obliged to do that. Just roleplay however makes feel comfortable. So, whether you're new to D&D or a seasoned hero, grab your dice, bring your weirdest ideas, and let’s roll!

I deal with rules issues by...
By checking real quick on the spot or make a ruling and deciding later, as to not disturb the game's flow.
Alex's ideal table
My table is open to any and everyone that loves a good laugh, knows how to take a joke and most of all, knows when to be serious and to share the spotlight with other players. Every player is the hero of their story but please don't be that guy who keeps butting in in a conversation that doesn't concern them just because they need the attention.

Both laid back and fun.
I love it when a player
Find creative solutions to a problem.
I think min/maxing...
Is fine as long as you don't ruin other players' fun.
