About Nicolas Wooldridge
I have been in the TTRPG space for about 5 years now, and have been a regular GM for about 4. I consider myself to be a collaberative, non-adversarial GM with an emphasis on player initiative and character-first story telling. I do my best to ensure the world can incorporate characters of all types and players of all backgrounds in order to ensure everyone has a fun and enjoyable time at the table.

I became a GM because
My first GM ever ghosted us, but i had started to like the group of people i was playing with so i offered to run a game instead. since then i have been regularly behind the screen for strangers, family and friends!
My favorite books are

How Nicolas Wooldridge runs games
my games tend to be 80/20 Role play to combat, Combat tends to be a planned out event in the cases it does show up (For Lancer, I try to include combat every other session instead, as Lancer is more of a wargame in a TTRPG trenchcoat) Voices arent a strong suit, so i try to give NPC's a unique cadence or vocabulary or (attempt) an accent to distuingish which from which. i find 5-6 players to be a good sweet spot for a table, as it allows 1-2 people to cancel without any feeling bad for causing the game to be cancelled for the week and i'll still feel comfortable running for the classic size of 4 people.
