Ahoy-hoy I’ve been running Curse of Strahd campaigns since the height of the pandemic and love guiding players through the gothic horror realm of Barovia. As a Navy veteran, I value accountability and reliability. You can count on me to be on time, stay organized, and step up when needed to keep the game fun and respectful. My passion is crafting immersive, well-prepared adventures. I use atmosphere, music, character voices, and detailed storytelling to bring Barovia to life. From the first step into the mists to the final confrontation with Strahd, I ensure every session feels alive, tense, and unforgettable. Outside of that, I’ve spent much of my life performing on stage in plays and stand-up comedy. That love of performance fuels my GMing style — giving life to characters and keeping players fully engaged in the world. How Roberto runs games
In my games I balance immersive roleplay with combat that rewards tactics and teamwork over simple character optimization. Barovia is a land of shadows and consequence, and I keep players engaged whether they are trading whispers in a candlelit tavern or fighting for their lives in a ruined castle. I focus on group cohesion so every player feels part of the story and no one is lost in the mists. While being paid to GM is rewarding, the true joy comes when the table is fully immersed, imaginations locked together to create that rare and almost mystical experience of shared gothic horror.
