About Dominic
Hello! I'm Dominic, a British nerdy guy who loves Pathfinder 2nd Edition! I tend to run games for US players as that timezone works better for me personally, but I'm open to any time zone. I've been GMing Pathfinder 2e for over 5 years now and I'm all about immersion - accents, voices, sounds, music, ambience and deep RP - it's essential to me in my games. I also run a small YouTube Channel (The Dominomicon) in my spare time, mostly dedicated to Pathfinder 2e.

I became a GM because
I love to create deep and compelling worlds, challenges that make my player's hearts skip a beat, create interesting and sometimes hilarious NPCs, and tell stories that really make the world feel alive. Also, as a GM - it's always my turn!
My favorite books are
LotR, The Hobbit, and PF2e lore books.
When I'm not running games I'm...
running my silly YouTube channel!
How Dominic runs games
Deep RP with accents and voices - both serious and comedic. Medium combat difficulty and standard fantasy stuff. I love in-depth character back stories so I can draw interesting content from them for my players. I also love variant rules!

I deal with rules issues by...
thoroughly reading them over and over again, then coming to a group consensus that seems fair for everyone.
My games focus on...
roleplay and combat. Immersion is incredibly important to me, and you can't have an immersive world without interesting NPCs, locales and a dangerous world to put them in.
When it comes to voices
I like to do lots of different accents, tones, inflections, and whatever else I can get away with.
Dominic's ideal table
Chill, somewhat comedic, with challenging fights, and deep RP, including day-to-day beats so players can truly be immersed in their characters and the world itself.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
immersion, definitely.
I love it when a player
uses an ability to incredible effect - utterly destroying one of my encounters! I feel proud for them!
I think it's a red flag when players...
don't write backstories (seriously, a couple of sentences is fine). I get it - the game part and character building is exciting. But so are backstories! Having that depth in your PC can really help me bring the world to you rather than just the other way around!
