About Alice Park-Beaty
Hey everyone! I'm Alice - a queer, biracial cat mom who goes rock climbing in between D&D sessions. I've been playing (mostly DMing) since 2020, inspired by actual plays such as NADDPOD and Dimension 20. My favorite thing about TTRPGs is how collaborative it is. My job as a GM isn't to tell you a story - it's to give you the framework to tell your own! If you play with me, I'll empower you to own your character and your party's choices. How Alice Park-Beaty runs games
I favor a proactive player style to TTRPGS (as codified by Tristan and Jordan Fishel in their book "The Gamemaster's Handbook of Proactive Roleplaying"). The players are the stars of the story; I'm just here to empower them and make the world feel real. I believe in the power of consequences, both good and bad. I love running tactical combat, but it will always come second to meaningful storytelling. Combat is there to enhance the story and give weight to the characters' actions.
