About Lanodantheon
I'm Lano, and I have been Tabletop gaming for 30 years, since the days of AD&D 2nd Edition when I was a wee lad. When not gaming, I am a screenwriter, a voice actor, and into improv comedy. Having been around the hobby that long, I have more TTRPGs on my shelf than I have actually played. My favs include Cyberpunk 2020 & RED, D&D 5e, Fate (of various kinds), and Monster of the Week. I believe games should be fair, creative, and fun for everyone. I try to communicate as clearly as possible and do my best to make sure everyone at the table is enjoying themselves. My philosophy is, "Make everyone else look good, and you look good." I am equally inclined to run adventures out of the box or custom-made, but either way, I like to add my own spin on everything. I have ADHD and a LGBTQ+ ally, so I welcome folks of all walks of life to my games and will work with any neurospicy folks for whatever their needs might be. This includes using any lines and veils set by everyone at the table. I also do my best to prevent problem PCs as early as possible and keep the game fun for everyone. I am happy to teach the game to folks unfamiliar with it, but toxic players have no place in my games.

Screenwriting, watching movies & TV for market research, fun, and learning new things. I am currently learning about Unreal Engine 5 and using it for filmmaking and game supplements.
How Lanodantheon runs games
I bring 30 years of Tabletop Gaming to my table. In that time, I have had fun times and seen both problem players and amazing players. I am always trying to improve and make a better game. Most table problems can be solved through clear communication, and I try to work with my players to find a communication style that works for them. My games try to be a good mix of combat, roleplaying, atmosphere, and story. I aim for memorable encounters and helping discover moments that players will remember. I use my passion for filmmaking, animation, screenwriting, and voice acting to bring memorable characters and characterization to my NPCs. I also use it to make for evocative scene settings using both my voice and image editing tools for custom maps and other touches. There will be attempts at accents. But, we all try those. For paid games, I like to run written modules and give them my own personal touches.
