About Josh

Hi I am Josh, I have been playing and GM-ing Dungeons and dragons 5th edition for over 10 years. I have ran more games than I have played in them and I have done games in both D&D 5e 2014 and 2024 rules. I take a creative approach to D&D, being flexible and I love to incorporate the characters backstories into the story and give each character an arch to shine in. I have done games both in person and on Roll20. I look forward to making many more campaigns from the endless possibilities or doing any of the premade campaigns that D&D has to offer and I especially look forward to meeting all the new players and characters to come.

I became a GM because

I love to tell stories, I love the process of building a world for D&D all of the lore all of the people and character. I could run a campaign several times but each time could end up entirely different. I want to share my love for fantasy and adventure with people.

How Josh runs games

A few of the things you can expect from my games is that I love roleplay and mystery, I love when players really feel engaged and like their choices matter. The worlds I run may change depending on your choices, I mean you may be heroes of the realm it makes sense people will take notice. I like combat to be engaging as well and thought provoking, players using crafty unorthodox methods to defeat a boss or get around an encounter.
