About ProDieM

Greetings Adventurers! I started playing DnD in the 4th Grade. I've DM'ed a lot of 2E, some 5E, and played a little of both. Please feel free to visit my Instagram https://www.instagram.com/prodiemd20/ to learn more about me and my campaigns! These days I run --- DnD Homebrew 2e Ruleset, PG-13, Noobs or Experienced, Players use free versions of Fantasy Grounds and Discord, Regular Pricing is $20 per player with a 5 or 6 player group for a 2.5-3 hr session, Sessions typically occur every other week. Each player receives a free 1 hr individual Character Creation session, which may also be used for a quick tutorial on Fantasy Grounds if you're unfamiliar with that Virtual Tabletop. (If you'd like a campaign created especially for you and friends that is limited to 4 players, please let me know. This is an option for $25 per player per session.)

How ProDieM runs games

My primary world for adventure is the classic Greyhawk setting. I’ve run adventures in the Forgotten Realms, Dark Sun, and Ravenloft, so you shouldn’t be surprised if any of those show up in my repertoire as well. I generally start with a published adventure, but often change the plot, sometimes just because a particular player has already played it. I want the experience to be new, not just a rerun. I have sometimes crafted a COMPLETELY ORIGINAL “sequel” to a classic adventure, revisiting the location, often with new NPCs and different plot lines. My style as a DM is definitely more referee than stage actor with a focus on storylines and player character growth. Not a lot of funny voices from the NPCs. Players are more than welcome to be theatrical. On the flip side, if the thought of “acting” during a session makes you cringe, you should feel no pressure to do so. My goal is to make the adventure creative, fun, and challenging. Speaking of challenging, Permanent Player Character death is a possibility in my adventures. I generally have players create 2 characters. In a group of 3 or 4 players you’re free to play both characters each game session. If you prefer to concentrate on playing one character, then the other is reserved as a backup. If one of your two PCs dies, you won’t have to miss playing a session! Truth be told I am rooting for your character and you as a player, but sometimes the dice have the final say.
