About Lino
Like many here, I’ve been immersed in the world of TTRPGs for nearly over a decade. While I love the role of Keeper, Storyteller, or MC, I’m just as comfortable donning the DM hat—especially if you don’t mind a few silly accents and my particular brand of high-pitched voices for male NPCs! When I run games online, I prefer a camera-free setup. I find this helps everyone ease into character without feeling self-conscious. I aim to create an inclusive and welcoming space, where every player can shine, from creative roleplayers to tactical combat enthusiasts. I enjoy crafting adventures that balance intense action with deep character moments, so there’s something for everyone. I’m thrilled to be meeting and DMing for new people, and I can’t wait to dive into our next adventure together!

I got started GMing...
Got into GMing by surviving a horror story DM; red flags, weird tropes, and just enough ...odd "plot twists” to wonder if it was all the DMs hidden fetish. Escaped, ran a one-shot, and never looked back. Now I run games that are chaotic, dramatic, and weird in a good way.
My favorite books are
My favorite books change often, but right now it’s I’m Glad My Mom Died (a brutal read but brilliant). The Shadow Over Innsmouth (short but does what it sets out to do in a fantastic way), and Stand Still Stay Silent, if it counts. The art? Stunning. The story? Bleak, weird, and right up my alley.
My favorite system of all Time is
My favorite system? Depends on the week. I love horror that makes players squirm (with consent!) and social drama like in Polite Society or TSL. DnD keeps the chaos in check, but right now I’m deep in my Call of Cthulhu era, nothing beats a stylish spiral into madness.
How Lino runs games
It really depends on the setting. As a GM, I’m all about empowering my players, helping them feel strong and capable as they face the challenges I throw their way. As a Keeper, though, I want to immerse you in a world of creeping dread and mystery, where the things that lurk in the shadows might just have you glancing over your shoulder. I lean towards roleplaying over straight dungeon crawls, but I love blending in well-paced combat to keep things dynamic. I’m passionate about building strong group dynamics and encouraging genuine connections between characters. Exploration is a key part of my style, and I like giving players downtime to hone their skills, pursue personal goals, and shape their characters’ stories. Ultimately, I strive to create an engaging, balanced experience that lets everyone shine.
