About Maddy

I've been running a weekly Game Night at the local LGBTQIA+ community center since 2017 (with a break for COVID lockdown). I'm an organizer for the Antelope Valley Board Game Group on Meetup, where I frequently run the games. I usually run games in person, but I do have my discord set up to run that way. Salem 1692 can be run via app as well. I regularly run Blood on the Clocktower, but I have experience with Werewolf, Salem 1692, and Deception:Murder in Hong Kong.

How Maddy runs games

Players can expect ambient music, fun flavor text, tightIy run yet lenient days. I encourage role play and public bluffing, but I will shut down anyone making others uncomfortable or stalling the game.

Where we played 3 games of BotC. The first two ended on day 1 and night 2 respectively, while the third lasted until final 3. I also ran a game on April Fool's Day where everyone was the Fool except the person who was the Atheist.

Maddy's ideal table

Blood on the Clocktower: my style is pretty cooperative. I'm open to player input and suggestions; I'll sometimes let the players choose the script (unless they're new, in which case it will be Trouble Brewing), and players may privately request a specific character or type. All games: I'm into everyone having fun. It's no fun to be picked on and targeted by everyone, and I will shut that down. If you're a player in my game, don't hesitate to tell me if you feel singled out.

A mixture of Steam Powered Giraffe, Pentatonix, Todrick Hall, Mika, and shortness. Among other individual songs. My game mix is usually ambient spooky music. I try to find some appropriate to the time if year.
