About Dyark

Experience: 35+ years as a Game Master but new to paid session, the reason is the investment you need to make good sessions running. Favorite Systems: Dungeons & Dragons up to 3.5, Pathfinder 1 and 2, Mutant year Zero, and Starfinder 1 and playtest 2 GM Style: I thrive on creating immersive and dynamic worlds where players can explore, interact, and shape the story. My sessions are a blend of rich storytelling, strategic combat, and character-driven narratives. I believe in collaborative storytelling, where every player’s choice impacts the world and the unfolding plot. I also run paid module that I modify for better immersion. Specialties: World-Building: Crafting detailed and vibrant settings that feel alive and responsive to player actions. Character Development: Encouraging deep character backstories and growth throughout the campaign. Mystery and Intrigue: Designing complex plots with twists, secrets, and puzzles that keep players engaged and guessing. Epic Battles: Creating challenging and memorable combat encounters that test the players’ skills and teamwork. Favorite Moments: Hearing players light up when they solve a difficult puzzle, watching characters evolve over time, and those unforgettable moments of triumph and camaraderie that only a great TTRPG session can bring. Here how I approach disagreements always outside of session as best as possible: 1. Open Communication: I encourage players to voice their concerns and feelings openly and respectfully. Creating a safe space for dialogue helps in understanding different perspectives. 2. Active Listening: I make sure to listen to all sides of the disagreement without interrupting. Understanding the root cause of the issue is essential for finding a fair solution. 3. Setting Boundaries: I establish clear boundaries and expectations at the start of the campaign. This includes discussing acceptable behavior, in-game and out-of-game etiquette, and how to handle conflicts. 4. Rule Clarification: Sometimes disagreements arise from misunderstandings of the game rules. I clarify the rules and, if necessary, make a ruling to keep the game moving smoothly. 5. Private Discussions: For more sensitive issues, I address the concerned players privately to avoid putting anyone on the spot and to handle the matter discreetly.
