About me

My love for Dungeons and Dragons runs deep, and it shows in every campaign I run. For me, D&D is more than just a game—it's a way to create and share incredible stories with my players. I strive to make every session unforgettable by weaving intricate character backstories into long, immersive campaigns and creating just the right atmosphere with carefully chosen music. The magic happens when everyone's backstories blend seamlessly into the action, heightening tension and making each moment memorable. I've had the privilege of guiding many players, both old and new, through epic tales filled with excitement, challenges, and the occasional character demise. Whether you're an experienced adventurer or just starting out, I welcome you to join the adventure. I've even started an afterschool D&D club to share this passion with the next generation of players. I aim to be a great DM for all, guiding engaging stories while leaving plenty of room for players to get themselves into and out of trouble. Whether it’s the thrill of the adventure or the camaraderie around the table, D&D is my passion, and I love bringing that excitement to every game I run. GM Style

I offer D&D Beyond and D&D Beyond Maps, with 99% of the books available online. I combine written modules with homebrew content, often starting with a module but letting the story grow organically. I enjoy heavy role-playing with combat included where it applies. I like to start at level 1, aiming to take you all the way to level 20. Please note that I do NOT allow multi-classing and use milestones for leveling up, not XP. All player rolls will be done online, though I occasionally fudge my own rolls to enhance the story and keep it flowing. For some decisions, I roll a d20 and ask for High or Low, adding an element of unpredictability and excitement to our sessions. Even after 20 years of playing, I don't have all the rules and spells memorized—there are just too many! I run with a somewhat loose interpretation of the rules and spells and use the "rule of cool" when it applies. I try to use different voices, though I'm no professional, and always strive to bring each character to life. I love integrating your backstory information into the narrative, weaving your character's life into the campaign. Over time, everything starts to fit and flow together, creating a rich, immersive experience. I also like to record my sessions for accurate note-taking afterward and will make the recordings available to you. While I enjoy joking around in-game, I believe there's a time and place for it. I also use modern pop culture references but don't dwell on them. Overall, I tend to run a more serious game. I love creating and using props and handouts whenever possible to enhance the experience. For sound, I use the Syrinscape sound XF program to set the perfect atmosphere.
