About Sharadur

Howdy! I've been playing D&D since the early 2000s, starting with 3rd edition, and running D&D 5th edition as a dungeon master for nearly a decade. I have also started branching out into running other systems such as Daggerheart and Draw Steel. I put an absurd amount of effort into my games including the incorporation of high quality audio, visually engaging features and special attention that I pay to each and every one of my player characters. I mostly run long-form campaigns that stretch anywhere from 1 month to 5 years (with breaks) in duration. I've also used multiple mediums. In-person with a dry erased marker, in-person using a battle map projected onto a TV and controlling it with a virtual tabletop like fantasy grounds. I've done it 100% online using Roll20 VTT and most recently have been using TableTop simulator so that I can utilize 3-dimensional models (figures and terrain), special FX and animated assets. My point is that I am versatile, experienced and dedicated to setting the bar as high as possible for my games. Running tabletop games and telling stories is how I choose to express myself artistically and I like to tell myself I'm pretty dang good at it. Thanks for you consideration!

How Sharadur runs games

Depending on the system and the preferences of the players I am totally comfortable running most types of games. That is to say, I am just as comfortable running tactical games that are heavily combat oriented as I am with one stewed in roleplay, intrigue and character conflict. You can always count on your character getting individualized attention. Your character's story is as important to me as it is to you. Above all, in my games, you get out what you put in. I will sculpt you a statue if you provide me with the hammer and chisel. I am also very accessibility friendly and happy to put the effort in to make sure that the experience is enjoyable to anyone who wants to be a part of it. You can always talk to me about your wants, needs and concerns and I'll never take that for granted.
