Hey folks, Mighty Mick here! I'm here to crash this party with action packed adventures - full of intrigue and excitement. You should see me hosting quite a few games in the Essence 20: GI Joe world or AD&D 2nd edition. I'm a huge GI Joe and comic book nerd who lived his glory years in the 80s and 90s, so you'd expect nothing else! Fantasy Grounds VTT will be my preference but I'll be keeping an eye out for developing trends. I will be making my own content/modules over time; so feel free to inquire about that or look me up. My good buddy Longshot and I will also be trying our hands at a regular podcast, aiming at tackling various DM related content (more details on that to come). We all need accolades, so here are mine: It's been 42ish years that TTRPGs have been a major part of my life and I'm ready to make them a full-time profession. I am a trained (but not currently practicing) teacher, so both exposing people to and learning new RPGs are my strong suits. Hopefully I have learned to spin a good yarn somewhere along the way too! I will be using a mix of custom content and pre-built adventures/modules, as players seem to appreciate a good mix of the two mediums. Most importantly, I am always open to suggestions and criticisms. Any and all demographics are welcome in my games! I do however, require that players be respectful of both myself and others. You should expect the very same from me. I'm in this for the long haul, so the aim will be an environment that promotes both good vibes and endless entertainment. Lets get at it!

How Mighty Mick runs games
I love great roleplay that leads to exciting action. While I definitely enjoy the tactical aspects to games, the banter and the set up are equally or more important. My games tend to strike a 40/60 ratio between action and story-roleplay. I'll try and vary my voice but we're here for the players to shine. I shoot to provide a good direction and a sandbox for players to play in. Expectations are a respectful but fun atmosphere. I will avoid any and all major controversies outside of my games, so keep the religion and politics to what's going on in my world. I will steer any outside drama away from the game immediately. Expect levels of extreme violence where the story requires it. Most of my games have either heavy military themes or can include horror elements. My bullets kill people and soldiers bleed. Come expecting it. Language and content is equally adult. I will only police language or actions if it is expressly confrontational with myself or another player. In such a case, it will be shut down immediately - with prejudice. While I like kids, I will only GM for them if I specifically create a game for children. So, unless the game specifically applies to kids, it'll be for an adult audience. Lastly, game day is game day. I won't do any other business at the "table". If you have schedule requests or have issues with billing etc, contact me via email or the Startplaying portal. I'm here for fun and to build myself as a professional. Players will never be required to bring anything to my table other than their imaginations. I appreciate and expect constructive criticism but will only ever offer it if you ask me specifically for it. Remember though, such matters are "other business" and never done at the table. Awesome!
