About Brad
Hello there! (General Kenobi!) My Name is Brad, and the cat I'm with in my picture is Dave! I'm a 25 year old DM who has started DMing during the pandemic after being quarantined due to a covid scare, but it had been something I had been meaning to do for years. Since then, I have been DMing for over three years, and have completed campaigns and leveled characters high. I've DMed for many groups in one-shots, and dealt with many players including power-gamers, roleplayers, and puzzle enjoyers. I was a theater kid in High School who also has a nack for technology, and I use those skills to full effect in Dungeons and Dragons to weave awesome stories AND make what you're seeing on your Virtual Tabletop look super cool as well! In terms of what you can expect in a game of mine, you can expect many moments of comedy, horror, and feeling powerful as I can rotate on a dime pretty easily. Additionally, you can expect an open DM who is happy to work with you to make an idea or gimmick play out or at least give suggestions. I also can ensure that when you join a one-shot of mine, you will find a nicely organized discord server which will have all of the resources you should need along with my availability leading up to the game for hanging out, wanting to talk characters, or otherwise! Deadlines, consent forms, and links will all be ready for you to grab at a moment's notice. So, adventurers, tell me. What is it you desire? Action? Drama? Spectacle? Join me in one of my games and all of that could be yours!

How Brad runs games
Oh where to begin... I'm flashy. The scenes in my VTT will have lighting, visual effects, sound, sometimes even macros and animations! I'm an overachiever, and I love making cool things which the players can use to be even cooler or make a scene even cooler! But, let's treat this like a point-buy system where I have 100 points to put into four pillars. Combat- 35 Exploration- 20 Puzzles- 15 RP- 30 Basically I listed by my most favorite to least favorite aspects of GMing. I love cool boss fights with a unique boss and boss mechanic, but my close second being RP is how I love to CONNECT that boss to players! Maybe it was the wizard's old master, or the fighter's best friend who was brought back a-la Winter Soldier from Marvel, or perhaps he was the last guardian of an ancient sect of the Paladin's faith! Exploration, being third, is something I tend to reward with lore, and sometimes loot but it's not particularly emphasized. However, last but not least is puzzles. It's not that I don't enjoy them, but I admit it's been a weak spot for me. I can certainly make good puzzles, I got the resources for it and the patience, but I simply prefer the other aspects. If you really wish for some puzzles though, you just let me know and I will gladly oblige!
