About Lee
Hello hello! Visual Novel Writer / Game Designer / Game Master, at your service! I have been playing TTRPGs for almost 10 years, and I have been Game Master for almost three years, with a finished, homebrew campaign under my belt. I have also been a Game Designer and Writer for over seven years, and credit a lot of my inspiration from Dungeons & Dragons and other Roleplaying Games! I hope to put my colorful background to work and host wonderful games that you will tell your grandchildren about.

I became a GM because
My first game as a player was mesmerizing. The GM did a wonderful job having me be invested into their world, brought my character's backstory to life, and as a writer, I wanted to give my players the same experience. That, and being god is fun.
My favorite system of all Time is
Pathfinder2e. SImply for the reason that I'm less likely to accidentally kill my players because a CR 1/4 monster was actually a CR 4 in disguise. (Do not use Sahuagins in a swarm...)
When I'm not running games I'm...
Learning to code in Godot, writing my visual novel, reading Pathfinder lore, and drinking too much coffee
How Lee runs games
As a writer, I love weaving narratives into my games, even if they are published modules. Roleplaying characters as well as watching other players roleplay brings me the most joy in GMing. My first experience with TTRPGs was a high-stakes, tactical game, so I love employing challenging and fair combats that test the players to their limits. I'm big into allowing reputable third party content into my games as well as allowing variant character building rules that let players become immersed in character creation. In exchange, I may tweak a monster here and there to match the party's power level and prevent games from becoming stale. I think my biggest strength is saying yes in most instances. We want to see our characters succeed, and giving players the chance to attempt a skill check, with or without an absurd DC, has always been more exciting then simply forbidding the action altogether.

I deal with rules issues by...
winging it. Pathfinder is a very crunchy system. I'd much rather make a fast ruling to maintain the flow of thee session versus stopping the game and looking up the rules. I can always revert the ruling in a different session.
My games focus on...
Immersion. Whether it be nail biting combat, or NPCs a little too in character, I aim for authenticity above all else. Especially when said authenticity is a little silly.
When it comes to voices
I may try just a little too hard to get them right...
Lee's ideal table
Casual. We're here to have fun. I'm being paid to let you loosen up and forget about your responsibilities for a few hours. My combats and tactical and thrilling, while my roleplaying is silly and endearing!

I love it when a player
Plays a character more focused on flavor rather than optimization. Not just with builds in mind, but also decision making. For example, making a deal with a devil who exploited your character's flaw.
I think metagaming...
is fine IF it makes sense for your character to know the information. A ranger will probably know that a troll is weak to fire. A wizard will know that a Golem is immune to magic. Fortunately in 2e, Recall Knowledge exists.
I think min/maxing...
is fine so long as the player remembers that this is a team game. It only becomes problematic when the player hopes to outshine other players. Playing strong characters is fun!
