About Nat Edson
Hi! I’m Nat, and I’ve been obsessed with telling stories for as long as I can remember. I started with DnD when I was 8, and I’ve never stopped. For more than two decades, TTRPGs have been my favorite escape. I even met my wife through a campaign that we’ve since turned into a book series. If you join my games, I’ll work with you to bring your character to life, immerse you in a gripping story, and have some fun gameplay along the way.

How Nat Edson runs games
As a GM, I place a lot of emphasis on character forward and story based gameplay, but matched with well balanced and engaging combat. I want my players to feel powerful emotions, to feel attached to their characters and the NPCs. But also want them to care about their abilities and how they impact their characters. My combat encounters tend to be more involved and difficult, giving players a chance to flex their creative energy to try and overcome it. I’m not bloodthirsty, it isn’t about killing players. It’s about making sure you feel like you’ve overcome something. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of moments where you’ll feel like a hero.
