About me

Tate - 30 - He/Him Hi all! I'm Tate from sunny Australia where I work as both a full time trainer and part time RPG writer. I started playing RPGs in 2010 when I bought the Pathfinder 1e CRB, and ever since I've been in love with GMing. In that time I've run over 4000 hours of games online, headed my local chapter of the Pathfinder Society, and I've had some of my D&D 5e work published by Kobold Press. GM Style

When asked to describe my GMing style, players have agreed that there are three key pillars which I focus on. Player First Gameplay - With years of both GM and game designer experience I have gained a deep understanding of how most game systems function. This means that, both at the table and while preparing a session, I can focus on my players and their characters rather than flicking through rules. It also means that, whatever crazy plan my players have formulated, I'm can make it happen. Exploration Minded - The funnest part of an RPG for me is the exploration of strange and unusual places. These means that my games tend to have environments that feel extraordinary. Tactical and Cinematic Combat - Though it may seem like an oxymoron, players have always described any combat I've run as being both tactically engaging and cinematic in its gameplay.
