Hiho!! If you're looking for a queer, autistic, Filipino GM, then look no further! ✨ My Game Vibes Every game I run is set in my original setting, Cignet, but the world and I go further than that: I consider it one of my own, personal safe spaces. It's a world whose vibe I compare to when you're a kid and you're just playing with toys. Anything goes. And I do my best to pull away from a lot of fantasy tropes who have their roots in racism and colonialism. Which is to say most of them. Twisting around fairy tales, defying expectations of what the world could and should be, that's my wheelhouse. The wild, the weird, the wonderful and the whimsical. ✒️ Table Priorities My main objective when running games are that you're having fun and you're comfortable. I prefer not to frame myself as the stereotypical, antagonistic figure GMs usually are depicted as. I'm your GPS on your grand, ol' adventure road trip. I want to make sure your time at the table is one where you can look back and smile. I've had a lot of bad experiences being a player, and so I try my best to make sure no one at my table is put down or discouraged like that. Safety tools are a must at my table. And I will be completely transparent (heh) when I say that every single NPC I have ever played, on all sides of the morality spectrum, are queer and neurodivergent. Plus, if you're looking for someone who can do funky creature voices, I'm your gal ;) 🕰️ Experience I've been running tabletop games for upwards of six years at this point, and I've run games for folks with a variety of skill and experience levels, and I've bounced around between a handful of systems. I've even spent a majority of those six years cobbling together various smaller systems on the side. In the game I currently run for some friends, we use one that's of my own creation, and I'm very proud of it. (I am working on a coherent doc of the system for open alpha playtesting, so hopefully I can post that on itch soon)

GM Style

Behold my vibes: 🎙️Some people have called me a Changeling. Not because I'm autistic, but because I have a plethora of voices and sounds under my belt. You want clicking mandibles? Gravelly dragons? Funky lil guys? Very old grandmas? Hot twinks? I have them all. They are mine. ✒️ Extensive lore and worldbuilding, no racism involved! Cignet is a vast, breathing world filled with endless Possibilities, and even a dip into Impossibility (those are capitalized for worldbuilding reasons shhhh). If you've ever read the Phantom Tollbooth, expect those vibes going in. 🎨 Semi-related, but I do art!! I draw almost all of the tokens I use, and a lot of major locations and maps. I put a lot of emphasis into how diverse the world is, and just how many folks live and thrive in Cignet. 📜 Everything I do will revolve around the story we're creating, all in the name of fun, catharsis, comedy, and drama. If a rule gets in the way of what might be an interesting scene, or if the enforcement of a rule could make a scene interesting, that is where I will go. But my ear is always open if anyone has any words of concern. I also use Safety Tools at my table (Veils and Boundaries; Green, Yellow, Red Cards), and I always send out surveys detailing such to folks before the game proper. 🎬 In a lot of my games, I'm always open to having a balanced dose of whimsy, color, drama, and horror. Goofs and gaffs are always fun, but I absolutely adore running scenes where the air is tense and you don't know what might happen next. I love to gnaw on drama like a bone. My boundaries: 🎭 While I can play a variety of characters, of ranging personalities and vocal performances, I have a very hard time being mean to people. Not a great trait to have when one is an actor. I can play villains, though. Just not jerks or genuine assholes. Or at least, someone with no endearing qualities. Something important to consider. ⚠️ I will never, ever, under any circumstances run a game that includes any form of prejudice or harassment. I don't vibe with that. I also won't run slavery plot lines or anything like that. I'm not qualified to do that story justice.
