About me
Ever since I was young, I loved diving headfirst into fictional worlds, absorbing myself in their lore, layouts and stories. When I discovered TTRPGs, I fell in love with the depth and fun of collaborative storytelling, and the humor, tragedy, comedy and horror that it evokes in a way no other medium can. To run and play an RPG is a chance to live a different life, to step outside of ourselves for a while. I've been playing and running games for years now, and I've decided to have a go at it at a professional level. I get to play with new and diverse people, expand my repertoire, and earn some cash for peanut butter cups.
GM Style
I'm familiar with many game systems, and yearn to try out many more. For now, I'm running one of my personal favorites, Call of Cthulhu. The exploration of horror and mystery, combined with an absolutely stellar system that's easy to learn makes it a fantastic game to run. The most important thing to me in any game are the players. Your agency, creativity and enthusiasm are what make this fun for everyone. By working together, you get the unexpected, which makes for the most entertaining tales of all. For that reason, I prefer to provide as many opportunities as possible for you to explore the system and your PCs. If you are new to RPGs or a particular system, I am always happy to help guide you!

Jacob is a fun and thoughtful GM! He was very helpful in explaining the system and I had a great time investigating the mysteries of this scenario along with the other players. Jacob is mindful of boundaries and makes it clear that his priority is that everyone has a great time. He is knowledgeable about the system and encourages player creativity. Oh and he has a range of fun voices that enhance the storytelling experience!

GM is very understanding and patient. When I had trouble in what to do next, gave some suggestions on what is possible but frames them in ways that can easily make you use that info to come up with your own idea. Excellent with voices and describing the scene, always tries to give each character their own voice. Can easily come up with things on the fly for when I ask the character the dumbest things. If you're curious about tabletop and need someone who can explain things in ways that's easy to understand for beginners, I'd definitely recommend this GM
