Hey you, I go by Aevar online, just a guy in his 30s looking to DM and have fun. Massive TTRPG nerd, I've tried out a lot of systems over the years and decided to stick with pf2e for the foreseeable future. Naturally, I also enjoy my fair share of video games, with a soft spot for strategy and 4x games. I've been a DM on and off since I was a teen playing D&D 3.5 and always loved to come back to a table when the opportunity presented itself. Over the years I've done my fair share of "introduction to TTRPGs" with different friends and love to introduce new players to all the possibilities this style of game offers.

GM style

I'm someone who goes by the book whenever possible, and generally know the rules well enough to make fair judgement calls depending on the situation. Big fan of the rule of cool, of course, everything that helps craft epic situations. I'd go as far as to say that "those" special moments are what make TTRPGs fun, and while they can be created through the use of the regular game systems. I'll never be against helping the scenario with some homebrewing. I'd also say I enjoy making the world feel alive as a GM, be it with detailed descriptions, more-realistic monster behaviors in combat, or roleplay. I believe in offering a challenge that's well adapted to the players to offer tense moments that can be remembered and referenced for a long time.
