About me

I have been a veteran Dungeons and Dragons enjoyer since I was 15 years old growing up in a small town in Iowa. From my earliest days as a player in my local gaming store, I've seen the hobby I love grow and evolve over nearly two decades. While the systems and rules may change over the years, my love for collaborative story telling and the unique experiences of interactive roleplay has been constant! RPGs have always been a safe space to me to explore different perspectives, embody fantasies and just have fun. As such my table is open to everyone who doesn't hold hatred in their heart. I will not tolerate harrassment of anyone in my games, especially on the basis of ethnicity, gender, or sexuality. I look forward to playing games together and creating some legends!

GM Style

I love collaborative storytelling above all else. Even when running in an established setting, I love it when players have a wild idea and I just roll with it. One of my favorite things when spitballing with the old DnD groups was simply declaring "It's canon!" when someone makes a goofy suggestion. Players can expect a blend of emotional roleplay and challenging combats. I prefer to pit my players against a few truly challenging combat encounters rather than slog through multiple mediocre fights. Ultimately, I love it when my players do cool stuff, and I make sure to enable that. I like to give vivid descriptions of player actions and villains deaths! Unless you have some good ones of your own! My style is a constant celebrations of adventure, struggles and awesomeness! I can't wait to see what my players bring to the table!
