About Louii
Hey! My name is Louii and I've been playing and running D&D for ten years. The best thing about TTRPGs is coming up with interesting situations for my players and seeing what they come up with and creating memorable experiences in doing so. I am a patient and understanding person, more than happy to help with rules and stuff like that. This is all about having fun!

I became a GM because
I love to create interesting scenarios and see how my players tackle them.
My favorite shows/movies are
Back to the Future, Lord of the Rings and the Simpsons (seasons 1-10)
When I'm not running games I'm...
running with my legs, prepping games, writing music, performing, watching movies, reading or hanging out with friends.
How Louii runs games
Rule of cool, improvisation, rulings not rules, quick and decisive combat but not necessarily solving every encounter with combat, thinking outside the box, collaboration with players, integrating character details into the world, character voices and roleplay.

I once ran a session...
where a courtier (who was a devil in disguise) got the party to retrieve an amulet from an ancient temple (which they did by offering the monk as a hostage to a ghost) which caused the paladin's god to take physical form which the party had to kill because it attacked a town.
My games focus on...
roleplay, creativity and fun
Rules are...
guidelines.
Louii's ideal table
My table is all about creating awesome stories. I encourage players to try everything and not be confined by their character sheet or the rules. There is plenty of combat at my table, but everyone knows that violence is not the only option. Experience is earned by achieving goals, not by killing boars. I celebrate roleplaying and I incorporate characters and their backstories into my worlds, worlds that I create for the characters to explore and make their mark as they see fit.

I love it when a player
describes a creative action/solution using their environment/equipment/endowment
I think metagaming...
should be avoided where possible, but is sometimes inevitable, shouldn't matter as long as we're all having fun
