About me
I am a Game Master with 5 years of experience in various roleplaying systems. My main systems are D&D 5e and Call of Cthulhu, but I also have experience in Powered by the Apocalypse systems like Ironsworn and Monster of the Week. The first game I ever ran was The Lost Mines of Phandelver, which I didn't run well since I didn't understand the rules at the time. But we still had a great time kicking goblin butt and barely surviving dungeons. My first priority as a GM is the comfort and enjoyment of the players. These games were made to have fun and tell a story together and I intend to do just that. As such I always make sure that everyone is having a good time and shift to accommodate what the group needs. My games are usually made starting with the writing of the bare story/setting of the campaign as well as the starting and ending points. Then as the campaign starts my improvisation skills take care of the rest. Once each session is done I will write the important story beats in a Google Docs folder. This makes sure that the story revolves and adapts around you, the players in a dynamic way. In short, I am a somewhat experienced GM that can always learn more. I use my own versatile improvisation alongside my base ideas in a way that works with both modules and homebrew. And I prioritize the fun and comfort of everyone at the (digital) table. So with all that being said, who's ready to have some wild adventures?
GM Style
I am a GM that loves to adapt around what the like. Though I myself love roleplay and combat, I like to keep them balanced. I am also very good with character voices as well as playing NPCs. With my improvisational style of GMing I can guarantee that you the player will have an impact on the story and world. I also am a firm advocate of the rule of cool (that a fun or engaging moment is worth a slight bending of the rules.) I also have a plethora of modules for D&D 5e and mysteries for Call of Cthulhu. Everything from the Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen to the infamous Call of Cthulhu campaign Masks of Nyarlathotep.
