About Max
Hello, my name is Max! I've been a mostly DnD player for five years, GM for one year. I live in New England and am an engineer by trade. I became a fan of fantasy when I picked up a copy of Oblivion in the early 00's. I got into DnD during the pandemic and fell in love with the hobby. I love exploring enchanting realms, meeting interesting characters and immersing players in a living, thinking world.

How Max runs games
I believe the players and I are telling a story. How strategic, lethal the encounter in depends on the encounter. The party is ambushed by a giant spider in the woods? The spider might only be interested in it's next meal, fleeing from combat with the first PC it downs. The party storms the lair of an evil arch wizard? The wizard would definetly attack when advantageous and with strategy but maybe his weakness is his ego and he can be goaded into showing his hand.
Max's ideal table
I think anyone who is interested in having some fun will enjoy playing at my table. This means light to moderate puzzle solving and strategic gameplay; it means enjoying role playing but understanding it is not a requirement; it means putting your and the tables enjoyment first.
