About me
Howdy! My name’s Ruin (24), and I’ve been playing D&D for about 5 years. Most of that time, I’ve been a player, but I’ve also stepped into the DM role—and let me tell you, I’ve grown to love it. There’s something incredible about introducing new players to this game, teaching them the ropes, and watching the creative chaos they bring to the table. It’s a thrill every single time. What got me into D&D and DMing? Honestly, it was inevitable. I’ve been a proud nerd and geek since I was a kid, riding around in the car listening to Superman cassette tapes. Since then, I’ve dived headfirst into anything and everything comic books, fantasy, sci-fi, anime, and gaming. It was only a matter of time before D&D pulled me in—and when it did, I went all in. Now, I’m here to share my stories and adventures with players, whether you’re brand-new or a seasoned vet. I’ve been told I have a knack for storytelling and a talent for voices (not the ones in my head—they can stay quiet for now). I’m ready to bring my A-game and create unforgettable adventures. So, what do you say, adventurer? Pull up a chair, grab a pint, and let’s weave a story you’ll be talking about for years to come.
GM Style
My style is a balanced mix of combat and roleplay, with each session alternating between the two. However, I strive to allow as much freedom as possible, so any session could involve combat, or you may find a way to avoid it. You choose your path and make the decisions; I am here to pave the way for your story.

An amazing DM who listens to his players, incorporates their input, creates amazing atmospheres, creates a safe environment to play in that’s drama-free. Very beginner friendly, he’s great at running campaigns for mixed groups, like longtime players and beginner players. If you’re looking for a DM, look no further, this is your guy!
Ruin is a fantastic DM. I'm still pretty new to DnD and Ruin welcomed me in with open arms knowing I had no idea what I was doing. He helped me set up a character and was so descriptive with each detail that I could choose for my own personal character. He stayed professional every time and even at times let us be creative on our adventures. There would be times where he would have to make up a new story line because we did something he didn't plan for and he was always so nice about it. He never complained and was very informative each step of the way. If we ever had any questions or needed help figuring out dice, he was always so patient and would take the time to help out or give a recommendation on what we could do for our next move. He never left us a stray or confused. It was over all so much fun and Ruin made me feel safe and not judged when I didn't know what I was doing. He always had a voice for a new character and always made sure to set the scene. I only played with him for a few months, but I'd definitely do it again and I'd recommend him to anyone especially if your new.
I've been a player in his Storm King's Thunder campaign for a good year or so and he was always prepared and put a lot of work into each session. He's very quick to step into the NPC's and voice them with a lot of personality, aiding in immersion. He is also very helpful for the newer players as we had a couple in the campaign who had never played D&D before.
Ruin is an incredible Dungeon Master whose games are consistently some of the most fun and immersive experiences you'll ever have. His storytelling is captivating, filled with unexpected twists and rich world-building that makes every session feel alive and unpredictable. He masterfully crafts unique NPCs that you can't help but get attached to, each one bringing something special to the table, whether they’re allies or antagonists. What really sets him apart is his ability to adapt and respond to player choices in real-time, making every decision feel impactful and meaningful. The encounters he creates are always engaging, ranging from intense battles to clever puzzles, and he balances tension, humor, and drama so perfectly that each moment is memorable. Ruin’s games are inclusive and welcoming to players of all experience levels, ensuring everyone feels like they have an important role in the story. He fosters an environment where creativity and collaboration thrive, allowing players to truly shape the narrative. Plus, his great sense of humor lightens the mood even in the most high-stakes moments, making the experience enjoyable no matter how dramatic things get. Whether you're new to D&D or a seasoned player, Ruin’s games are always an exciting, rewarding, and unforgettable adventure.
