I started DMing 5e DnD in mid 2013. I've since run my local Adventure League, learned several other systems, run promotional release events, and even ran professional in person games just before covid. I live and breath story telling. I'm capable of running tactical combat if your group is looking for some challenge. I could make a nation's with deep political intrigue or beef up drama in your local coffee shop if you're looking for heavy narrative. Who do you want to be? What story do you want to tell together?

How Dustin Carter runs games
I can match a vibe. I know how to run crunchy combat, but I don't have to. I know how to do deep roleplay(I've even taken an acting class), but I don't have to. I do enjoy doing voices. I enjoy getting into character. I enjoy presenting an appropriate challenge for my players. I'm not perturbed by power builds, and I'm not going to just execute a less than optimal party. Bring your gods and your goofs. And if your group is cool with mixing the two we can do that too.
