About me

Im a pretty laid back individual, I'm in it for the game and the story telling parts of role-playing games. I've Gmed off and on these last five years for my friends and it's been a very educational experience to say the least. My favorite parts as a gm is seeing the character arcs unfold that I've worked together with the players to achieve. As for playing well for a good portion of my career in the hobby I mostly started out playing 5e, but I've played many other systems such as Merp, SWSE, Twilight 2000 and others. I learn systems mostly by playing them however recently I'm more reading material for upcoming plans to switch my in home campaign to Castles and Crusades which I'm excited about.

GM Style

I am growing in my roleplay to combat ratio(slowly getting a balance with the role-play aspect as most players I've had were more combat heavy) however I'm a firm believer in co-operative play. I as the gm am not the adversary. With that said I try to give my players a challenge. Death is possible in my games, and in the shadowdark or dcc setting probably will be likley as those systems are higher danger but also higher stakes. I also like to personalize my games for my players so they feel invested. Now of course on the side of oneshots that won't be that common but in a long term campaign that's what Im going for. Unless stated before hand I prohibit pvp in my games.
