About me
Chris Tyner is a GM that has been running tabletop games for more than 35 years and is one of the most sought after storytellers in his hometown. As a long time actor and director, he is known for putting a theatrical flair into his games that offer an immersive storytelling style that keeps his players coming back for more. A huge comic book geek and movie buff, he has always been drawn to the superhero and horror genres, and has been running games like Marvel Superheroes FASERIP, Vampire the Masquerade, Tales from the Loop, GURPS and a host of others over the years for groups around the tri-state area in Southern Indiana. During the COVID outbreak, friends from across the country came to him to scratch the RPG itch, and thus, Dreamslayer Studios was born - an online community of old theatre pals and avid gamers who meet weekly to join together for communal storytelling. Chris looks forward to being able to spin tales with you!
GM Style
I tend to bring a lot of theatrics and character development to my games. A wealth of rich NPCs with distinct voices and compelling stories of my own creation. I listen carefully to my players and allow their words and actions to craft and mold the story as we go. I hate railroading and while I may have an over-arching story to tell, my worlds tend to be an open sandbox that rely a lot on quick thinking and improvisation.

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Storytelling

Voices
Fantastic! He knows the rules and is a great GM, mixing a very-entertaining level of exploration, role-play, and combat. And adds all the extra bells and whistles like sounds, maps, original artwork, tokens, etc. And even throws in an outstanding level of voice acting. Total fun! Couldn't recommend him more.
Dreamslayer knows his material, and the system, deftly, and is able to adjust to whatever shenanigans the players want to try. He also paints a strong picture of the surroundings, and you really feel like you're going panel to panel like you're reading a comic book. His games are very much worth your time and I look forward to sharing a table with him again in the future.
