About Christian
I've DMed 5e games for nearly a decade for all ages. Ive brought DnD to summer camps, libraries, and bachelor parties. In college I studied acting and after college have begun working in voice over. I work in video games and audio books and am more than capable of bringing the characters in my games to life. I like to make sure that my players feel safe and know the boundaries of the game and the players needs. I love running games for new players and seeing them learn the possibilities of their imagination.

My favorite shows/movies are
really into anime and manga, top three right now are Frieren Beyong Journeys end, full metal alchemist, and Jujitsu Kiasen. For manga I'm reading Kagurabachi, Gatchikuta, Hell's Paradise. I'm also in deep on the Dungeon Crawler Carl series.
People are always surprised when I tell them
i worked as a birthday clown on long island for 8 months.
When I'm not running games I'm...
auditioning and working as a voice actor, additionally I work as a production assistant for press junkets, and even occasionally work as a production electrician. Many hats. And when I'm not working I play video games, host dinner parties, and write.
How Christian runs games
For me DnD is about joining comrades in a battle against insurmountable evil. I also like to ask each of my players what sort of experience theyre hoping to get out of the game so i can try to cater my games to those needs. At the table I try to make sure all players have a chance to contribute or at the very least to check in and see what every player is thinking. I also love when players find a way to break an encounter and players do something unexpected. In combat I try to add addition aspects to the combat outside of fighting or a fun secondary objective. But above everything I enjoy RP and letting the players get to interact with the world through my NPCs.

I once ran a session...
for a bachelor party where the groom had his life taken over by a demon of fear and doubt and he had to expel the evil spirits from the places in his life where fear and doubt might have manifested. Obviously with the help of the groomsmen who played different spirits to aid him.
I prep by
asking players questions about the game and using calling another GM to workshop it.
My favorite trope is...
capitalism is the bad guy.
Christian's ideal table
My ideal table is built on a foundation of trust and respect. To weave a story together can sometimes feel vulnerable, exciting, and dangerous for the characters we play. Without trust and respect we can't run a game. Upon that foundation we're having fun, cracking jokes, but also giving each player a chance to have the floor. I also enjoy collaborative story telling in home brew games. We can invite each other to create the story together (under the guidance of the GM). My job as the GM is to facilitate a fun, exciting, and memorable gaming experience with characters and choices that matter to us at the table. When we band together to fight incomprehensible evil, rise against insurmountable odds, and protect the bonds of friendship and love we're gonna have a great time.

I love it when a player
ask curious questions about the world and the players at the table.
I think metagaming...
has a place at some tables but not all. and if you want to meta game at my table that just means I can turn up the heat on the challenge rating
