About me

I am a passionate Dungeon Master for DnD 5th Edition, and have been for over two years. Most of my experience with the platform has been over Roll20 and Discord, where I currently run and play exclusively. I am a dedicated perfectionist in roll20 setup, and I greatly enjoy taking time and pride in managing my VTT. I am 18 years old and am on the Autism spectrum, and have ADHD as well. The style of DMing I strive to emulate is a balance of all three pillars with a bit more on the side of exploration. I'm not a professional voice actor, and I won't blow you away with my impressions, but I absolutely will with how streamlined I make mechanics feel at my tables; that means less time looking up rules, and more time doing cool stuff!

GM Style

Good balance of all 3 pillars with a focus on exploration; Challenging but not meatgrinder combats, RAW/RAI focused. Clean combats uninterrupted by rules debates or having to look things up.

In my fifteen years of playing and running D&D, Chris is undoubtedly the finest DM I've ever had the great fortune to meet. Chris' worlds are living ecosystems that respond to you both as a player and character. He is patient, brilliant, and constantly encouraging creativity and growth. His combats forge heroes, his exploration scenes feel as though you're constantly one corner away from wonder, and when he roleplays, he conjures life out of thin air. In short, whether veteran or novice, you will find a place at Chris' table that you will never want to leave.

Chris is amazing with taking content that is already there, and improving upon it. He adds his own flair to the story, making it an incredibly unique experience. NPCs truly come to life, and they feel like real people, with lives and beliefs. This, coupled with a deep knowledge of the lore as well as a knack for making gorgeous maps, makes his games an experience! He also makes excellent original content, that flows really well together. Chris is extremely creative, and also great at going with the flow, at improvising. One of the things I've really enjoyed as his Asvelt games, which is a modern world set in the D&D universe. He makes it an experience for characters not from that universe, and it feels very real. I can get really immersed in his worlds. And he knows the rules of the game very well, but knows how to make things work too. He's a 'yes, and...' type DM, always willing to work with people to make things work. And when you play something bizarre in his games--such as a dragon or a devil--the reactions are realistic. He has a great amount of technical expertise as well. Even if you don't feel confident about using Roll20, he can teach you! Chris also goes to great lengths to make sure his table is inclusive and safe. He cares about his players, and he marks everything with proper warnings, and will accommodate player's needs if necessary. There are a lot of wonderful things I can say about Chris! He is definitely someone I would recommend hiring as a Dungeon Master.
