About me

Welcome! My name is Chirag, and I'm hoping to be your next Game Master! I've been roleplaying for 16 years, a variety of systems from D&D to scion, Fate, Fiasco and Pbta (my favorite being Masks). Currently learning GURPS and happy to learn any new system. I'm one of the founders and frequent DMs of Desis & Dragons, a group of Desis who stream roleplaying games and do interviews with influential tabletop figures. We're trying to grow the hobby in India and among the South Asian diaspora best we can, and we currently have the largest TTRPG community in India. I love making fun new worlds that are personalized to the characters and stories the PCs want to bring, so it's always a unique experience for the protagonists. I make sure my characters are weird and memorable in the best ways, while never losing the focus on the players. I'm happy to take new players on their first experience with D&D, all the way to experienced players wanting something wild they've not seen before, as long as everyone at the table is having a good time. I do my best to make everyone feel included and most importantly, feel safe yet seen. And also feel EPIC when they play, like the heroes you are are!

I'm a big believer that social roleplaying doesn't end once initiative is rolled. I love social roleplaying, as well as creative combats that really push the players to be ingenious while rewarding creativity. While I mostly refrain from dungeon delving or grinding, I enjoy exploring worlds as well as characters, in various exciting new places.
