About me
⚔️I take people to dungeons deep, caverns old, and occasionally to a tavern brawl that definitely wasn’t planned but somehow becomes the main story! 👋 Hi, I'm Brian! Every week I get to do something amazing. Life is full of responsibilities, but for a few hours I help people escape! You get to adventure, laugh and make friendships. I love being the one to help make that happen, because everyone deserves a chance to be a hero. 🎲 My games are all about adventure, creativity and having a blast! Every great story has a framework, but I think the best moments happen when players take the reins. I use adventures as a springboard then let your choices twist the tale into something uniquely yours. You’re steering this ship, I’m just here to make sure it floats! 🧠Neurodivergent-Friendly Zone I know TTRPGs weren’t designed with ND folks in mind, but my table is. If you need adjustments to make things work for you, let me know. No shame. No judgement. You deserve to play comfortably too! 🧠 Also, my own brain is a bit of a homebrew build! I have a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects memory and information processing. Every once in a while, I roll a crit fail on remembering a rule/spell and might need a refresher. I do my best to make sure it doesn’t slow things down! 📋Rules!? More like Guidelines! I won’t grind a session to a halt over a rulebook. If something’s unclear, I’ll make a quick call and keep the story flowing. I'll check the rule between sessions, but the game should feel dynamic, not like a legal dispute over spell wording! What could possibly go wrong? Let’s find out!! If you have any questions feel free to message here or Discord: __chewie__
GM Style
All my games offer: -A relaxed, safe and fun atmosphere for everyone. ❤️🔥 -A world that reacts to your actions. 🌎 -Tension filled combat and intriguing social interactions. 🗡 -Fleshed out NPC's with their own wants and goals. 🧙♂️ -Dynamically lit battle maps, custom-made handouts, visual representations of all major locations and characters. 🗺 - Music chosen for that specific game/area to keep it as in-theme as possible. 🎵🎶 5e: Around a 60/40 clip Rp & Social to Combat. Shadowdark RPG: Probably a 70/30 clip Combat & Exploration to Rp & social. Playing to the strengths of the system. I prefer to run heroic 'Tolkienesque' games! I'm not big on wacky evil shenanigans but do like to have a laugh! (No murder ho-bos essentially)

Ive been a couple of one shots with Brian. This guy knows Roll20 inside and out and is a great GM! Always an exciting adventure and the story moves along really well. He allows a lot of player creativity and knows where and when to bend the rules and when not to. Safe and inclusive GM who is very creative and has some fun voices to his NPCs as well as their reactions to PC which makes for some very interesting interactions. Great balance between role play shenanigan's, story threads and battles. keeps things moving along really well. I would highly recommend jumping in on a game with Brian. Its always fun regardless of your skill level and there are premade character sheets if you are not confident in making your own or if you only have 15minutes notice to jump in at short notice. :) He's a great guy and so are his games.
10/10.. This is the results of passion meeting perfection. Mastery of the Dungeon Master. This master painter lays out a journey detailed and well colored with his brush dipped into the known vocabulary. You become drawn in with his witty banter and seamlessly smooth transitions from novice adventure to pure legends. He uses a wide variety of tools to set the scene then polishes it with perfectly placed guidance. There are no bounds to the worlds he creates. This man truly is an author of a thousand stories. Don't wait any longer as an unsung hero. Let your story today unfold into what the bards will sing of at every tavern in the four corners of the world.
I’ve been lucky enough to play in a long-term campaign with Brian, and I can confidently say he's one of the best out there! As someone who was brand new to the game when we started, Brian was incredibly patient, supportive, and always willing to help me learn the rules without ever making me feel overwhelmed or a burden. What really sets Brian apart is his creativity and flexibility — he actively encourages wild ideas and unexpected plans, and instead of shutting them down, he'd roll with it and find ways to make those moments shine. The world felt alive, and our actions had real weight and consequences, making us feel like we were truly shaping the story. His voices and roleplaying are fantastic, bringing every NPC to life with distinct personalities and accents that make it easy to get immersed. He also excels at fostering an inclusive and welcoming table where everyone feels heard and respected, which made such a difference in my experience. Combat was always exciting and well-balanced, with encounters that felt challenging but fair, and every fight felt like it had meaning in the broader story. On top of all that, he worked closely with me to weave my character’s backstory into the campaign, giving me some amazing personal moments and making me feel like my character mattered in the grand scheme of things. Overall, if you’re looking for a DM who’s easygoing, creative, and genuinely cares about their players and their stories, you can’t go wrong here. Highly recommend!
I've had over 10 Sessions with Chewie and am repeatedly wowed at how much work and dedication he puts into even his one shots. He's very communicative and open-minded, but clear and straightforward when needed. It's always a pleasure to play with him! As a 10+ years vet of DnD, he has been one of my favorite DMs so far.
